Only In The Philippines Part 1

It's a big pain in the ass when you own a business here in Philippines. Not only because of 12% EVAT in everything (food included, omgg even the toll has tax *faints*), which is too high of course (knowing that the minimum salaries of the employees is like P350 a day, less tax), paying the renewal of Barangay Permit yearly will cost you P700, Mayor's Permit cost P14,000 something more or less + other requirements & charges like Fire Extinguisher which is also renewable yearly. What shocks me more was finding out that the Barangay Hall in Taguig is collecting parking fee for every delivery truck which cost P30 a day. The truck don't even stay for 15 minutes longer, they just only load ordered items to our store. Wow!! Our government loves to extort money from it's people eh? Where does the money goes? Usual answer: It goes to the pocket of corrupt officials. Is there any justice for this? Our President Noynoy Aquino is doing his best to fight the rampant corruption. I really admire his brave heart and big guts to fulfill his promise to it's people. I wish justice will be served in due time.
